Very funny, that popular idea of assimilation- look for that word, that's not in the documents. This is about something else... you fellows are only going to be inconvenienced anyway. No need to worry.

i'm not in general a political person, but i do fear the changes in law i've seen in the past decade or so. it's pretty frightening shit. although, right now, the administrators of our country are actually rather benevolent, it's now set up to allow a dictator to take absolute control, entirely legally. due process, as we knew it, is no more.

I wasn't particularly political either since the Vietnam War and a few No Nukes actions. Then I went the way of career and children. That all changed when my 17 year old son got apprehended and detained without due process because he was in Zuccotti Park at the wrong time on Sept. 20, 2011. He brought breakfast there as an act of kindness - and to see what the deal was about Occupy. In January I found myself in the Tombs for 30 hours arrested on false charges. I learned a lot about bust now and deal with the consequences later - stop and frisk - and other topics of import during that time - since sleeping is not an option when you are shuffled from cell to cell. I have still not had my trial. I'm scheduled for Oct. 24th - at which time it could be continued again if the State is again not ready.

OK - I'll stop now.

i went to a scott walker listening party this evening at revolver records (they played the whole 'drift' album)

it was very, very cool...altho im sure it was uncomfortable listening for some
