Unfortunately my partner in crime Alimar has had to gracefully bow out.
He assures me it's not because my stuff is unusable/unsavable and isnt in anyway mindnumbinglyawful....

I finished my producer's bit with Tokai the day after it was announced what the pairings were! Producing someone else's music seems a lot easier for some reason. Probably because my head isn't so wrapped up in the song itself so I can hear what the song needs better.

excellent observation Charles ! Totally agree.

So everyone is set now? No one needs an artist or producer right?

VicDiesel is doing a complete makeover on dimm witness ;-) I feel bad for him he is working with a stubborn recalcitrant "musician" with little in the way of diversity (or skills)

It's an interesting experience trying to coax someone to adopt my notion of what an arrangement could sound like, without actually playing it all myself.

I am learning A LOT in the meantime. the finished product will be amazing colossal stupendous I wonder what it will sound like??

I've been down with a flu for a few days. I'm taking a look at your latest stuff later today. Right now I'm catching up with work.

So Matt has been kind enough to take on a big project with some of my very favorite artists here, and so far it's been really cool, everyone involved has really kicked in here the past few days, so it's all coming together, i finally started using my gmail which is awesome for these big collabs, (keeping a story book going), we are all also getting skype which I think will be an awesome way to meet so to speak, and of course dropbox rules! It's incredible to be able to collab like this and Matt has jumped right in and I am so happy to have gotten paired with him, yet another virtual macjams friend! This challenge is a great idea Jack! So much fun.

...and that is whot it is all about..... I have grown a bit with both the "covers" and "Producers" in tandem ... oh heck yes james !
