Re:Producers Challenge

I'll be happy to "produce" someone as well but they will have to have a sense of humor ;-) their song will most likely end up virtually unrecognizable.
whomever produces me I pledge to accept and honor their work -- I find it flattering that anyone would take the time :-) |

If I produce someone's song I respectfully request you provide me with an authentic producer experience. Upon hearing the song you must pitch a tantrum, tear up the studio, run to the bathroom and do cocaine, immediately get in a late-night downtown car crash, have a crazy mugshot taken, hire a celebrity lawyer, do 12 days in a 21 day rehab program, quit the band, re-join the band, and then, right before the tour, thank me for helping you create the best album of your career.

In between quitting the band and rejoining the band, don't forget the announcement of a new solo career (preferably on a late-night talk show, somewhat inebriated and slightly incoherent) that the artist, after sobering up, denies actually being serious about. "It was just a joke," his lawyer says the next day in a prepared statement. By the way, when the artist thanks you for helping create the best album of his career, it will go down something like this.... Grammy Awards Ceremony: winner says: "...I'm just so blown away to win this award for Best Producer, it's a great honour, I'd like to thank - oh, wait, here comes... who?" Looks baffled to see Your Artist walking onto the stage, unannounced, who grabs the microphone and says: "This Grammy should go to Chikoppi, for helping create the greatest album of my career! No offence to you, dude, but this is Chikoppi's Grammy!" "It was just a joke," his lawyer says the next day in a prepared statement. |

Not sure I want to be a producer on this challenge, but I have put a track up as an artist (along with the stems) if anyone is interesting in polishing it up and making it in to a song. http://macjams.com/song/64564 |

I'll sign up for Artist. I'd love to hear what someone else does with my music.
