Hello
I have a pair of Mackie MR8's linked up via a fastrack pro and also using Logic.
I am not sure what your problem might be - I have mine via the trs outputs of the maudio to the trs inputs of the Mackies. I have also used rca outputs to xlr on the Mackies. I would strongly suggest using high quality balanced trs leads. I had some bad whine noises with rca which are unbalanced.
I assume that the input levels are turned up on the speakers and that the output knob (furthest right at the bottom) is turned up and also that the input/output mix knob (immediately above the output) is also fully turned to the right on the maudio.
Careful though with all knobs in the furthest position you are likely to rock the building.
I assume that you have sound from the maudio in the first place - ie headphones?
If not then your problem is probably with your audio setup in Logic.
Logic/Preferences/Audio and make sure that your input and output devices are both set to the maudio (this assumes Logic 9). If earlier version of Logic, just make sure maudio is selected as your device.
If you need further help - just ask.
