drum software
Wednesday, February 17 2010 @ 09:56 PM CST

this is a pretty insane deal. $20 for steven slate drums. these are great for rock style drums.

audiomidi does crazy deals like this constantly to attract interest in products, totally worth getting on their mailing list so you hear about them. I got PSP Nitro awhile back for $10, and Breverb for $5. Seriously ridiculous; find myself jonesing for their sales (they happen every couple of months).

glad you got some use from that link. i would've done it, but I just bought 20 gigs of Ocean Way drums last month, and I have EZDrummer. I kind of like my drums to sound a little more muted (like the ringo starr tea towel thing), so these were too big for me.

i wouldn't worry about it. the company is super legit. apparently so many people jumped on this sale, that their servers are overwhelmed. just saw on another board a reply someone got when they contacted support today:

"We are terribly sorry that your download is moving slowly or not working
at all. Currently, our servers are undergoing maintenance to increase our
overall download speeds and stability. We hope to have our server back to
one hundred percent over the next day or two so we appreciate your
patience. Once the server is back, we can help you with any other
questions or concerns you might have. Also, we will reset your passcode
so your same login information from your order receipt can be used. We
sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for
understanding."
