M-Audio Midisport 1x1 vs. Edirol UM-1G 1x1

Hi Everyone,

I've never used MIDI before but I would like to try using my Yamaha P-90 as a midi controller in garageband.

I read an article recomending the above two interfaces. I've been able to find reviews for the M-Audio, but some of them are off putting. I've not been able to find any reviews for the Edirol.

Despite the two interfaces being in competition I've not been able to find a single review comparing them.

I wondered if anyone is able to offer an opinion on which is best?

My computer is a macbook running OSx 10.5 and has an intel processor.
