New toy :)
Monday, January 16 2012 @ 09:48 AM CST

Wanted to add a little rhythm to my life, so I picked up these handsome Meinl bongos (fwb190 leopard burl) over the weekend.
What a treat. Should have got these a long time ago.

You put the lime in the coconut and mix them both together....put the lime .......

I know who I am and you know who you are, but who and the hell do they think they are?

how cool!

How do you tune the heads? (don't see rings with brackets and key screws)

Black soft tips on the bottom unscrew which gives you access to the lug nuts which you can tighten and loosen your skins with.

Almost went for the fwb400 ash, but decided these sounded great at a lower cost,(about $140 difference). These are not rinky-dink bongos. Solid and project well.
