MJ City 3 ONLINE!
Saturday, December 10 2011 @ 12:36 PM CST
Grab your popcorn - it's time to rock and roll!
Woo hoo! It worked! As you may have noticed, Alimar's parts run with subtitles with no dialogue. I never received any dialogue from our Mayor, and didn't get a reply to the 'gentle nudges' messages I sent his way. This created a bit of a situation for me - I can't skip his scenes as they're integral to the plot, and as for recasting... well, forget that. Alimar is the Mayor of MacJams City, and that's that. So, I just decided to run with subtitles instead, and it works out fairly well. Hopefully all is well with our good Mayor, and it was just a case of busy lives that must be attended to. Trust me, I know that story too well. All in all... the flick looks pretty cool. The animation is noticeably more alive - I've learned quite a bit about what the animation software can do, and it's just amazing. I've been doing it the hard way previously, but now.... hey, Tobin even DANCES! Finally... the music. Ultimately this is all to celebrate the amazing music that crackles through this place, and the new music appearing in Episode 3 features stuff by Bud, Tobin Mueller, Drakonis, MichaelJayKlein/Five Extra Arms and Guygrooves/mr_mordenus. Thanks to all the loony MacJammers who joined in on this crazy project - it's a pleasure to see this all come together. Take a bow, everyone - particularly Eduard, our own Drakonis, who cooked up the incredible CGI sequences to depict the inside of MacJams' Music Vault. Eye-popping stuff, isn't it? Truly, MacJams is all about collaboration of creative spirit, and I know of no place on the internet that even comes close. Now... a bit of time off, and then I'll get rolling on Episode 4. Where, among other amazing things, we'll be treated to a full-on stadium style, 80's hair-band rockin'-out concert featuring heavy-metal leather goddess Alannah and Vic Holman in full rockin'-out mode. Out goes the pilot suit and on goes the........ loincloth? Yup. Vic Holman in a loincloth. Most indeedy, the best is yet to come! Thanks, everyone! And for latecomers to the party who may not have seen Episodes 1 and 2, there are embedded videos at the MacJams City Artist Homepage. |

Fabulous! Even Burnie, the flame guy appeared. Me too, Richard, I smiled through the whole thing. Thank you, Rik.

What a wonderful production... love your chocolate-rabbit logo :-) Thank you so much Rik, for surmounting such incredible hurdles, and creating ones from zeroes! Love it! But... hey, it ENDED! And we didn't win! Dang, now I am even MORE on the edge of my seat to find out what happens next! How can we possibly defeat such a menace? :-) Stay tuned for the next episode!
But for now, Rik, you deserve a little break. Thank you for the great work on this! ttfn, Drakonis |

OH MY GOD ... this is just so incredibly fabulous !!!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE all the little nuances .... one must watch it a few times to catch them all ..... your amazing humour just brings this one to the forefront ! The saga continues ..... this should be on TV .... it is so much better than the animation currently out there ... even if non MJ people don't get the MJ nuances ... the story stands by itself and is AWESOME !
