It's about time I started to get back into music after a long break and funnily enough a song that Richard and I were working on before the summer will fit right into this so count us in Smile

Cheers

finally. some inspiration struck last night around 3am. woke up with a lyric concept, a few rhyming lines, a possible second melody to ride over top the chorus for the ending, chorus chord progression, and a possible bridge, although i might use it as a verse instead.

first thing this morning ran to the puter, typed in all the words i could remember, fired up GB and penciled in all the chords. the melody is still in my head and i'll just let that percolate for a while...

Way to go Smokey.

I'm still working on finding some mushrooms and a beanbag chair so I can get started. Might have to settle for some Chamomile tea and a rocking chair. Started reading the Tao of Physics and even cooked a few recipes from the Moosewood Cookbook. Something should click eventually. I have this finger cymbal solo in mind - but that's not enough to go with.

I just drank iced coffee and listened to Country Joe's first album. I'm starting to get there.

Thanks for the invite though - I'll bear it in mind for my next trip to Texas.

It's entirely up to you, but if you wait, we can all post our songs together and make a festival of it.
