i want to post a youtube clip on my homepage. can anyone tell me how to do this?

i've copied and pasted the embed code on my page.....but the youtube clip doesn't appear when i save and view

here's the code.....oh wait.....as soon as i paste the code in this message box, the clip appears below.....but not on my bio page. strange.

when i post the embedded code into either 'homepage' or 'bio' the clip doesn't appear and instead my page is all messed up and the menu on the left disappears and the rest of the page is the perennially annoying spinning beachball mac-keeper advertisement.

Under the video on the Youtube page: SHARE > EMBED. Copy the code. Paste it where you want it to appear.

Assuming Wordpress...

Depending on wha VERSION of WP you have installed, you can just paste the URL of the desired video into the visual post editor.
