Hi Bug. The flashing does not signify anything other than the fact you have the code in your bio.

The real reason, of course, is that it looks like a neon sign outside of a club/bar and SHOULD be flashing. I gave it some help.

Bug, I thought about what you said. So.......
Now, the logo only flashes when you have new comments (well, for ME, it always flashes). Also, your name at the top of your profile page will be red and on fire as well.

There's no missing new comments now.

Yes, but... The flashing logo is an animated GIF, so you'd have to recreate the logo. Originally, it was 2 images, js-controlled, but I thought that was too much of a resource hog.
