I don't know. I just think it's interesting. Stuff like this. Well, what other reason has led nations to war? Food maybe? Money? Religion is kinda big iron. Might as well talk about it as not. Taxes, sound waves, deaths of millionaires, what the **#$&$ is it all anyway. Maybe just shut yer mouth and go home is best. Dunno man. Lettuce. Why lettuce? Cabbage has so much more...character.... And yet the world turns.

Populist Christianity glosses over

Dude, do you have OCA (obsessive compulsive agnosticism)? Never have I seen a response that took that much time to prove what you say doesn’t exist in the first place.
You make it hard on agnostics everywhere because you just can’t let it go.

If someone came knocking at my door with a bible, I don’t think I’d spend the next 2 days with that person acting as if we were at some forensic league championship where only one of us comes out alive.

I’d say my piece, close my door politely and move on with my day.

I don’t believe in Santa Claus, but I damn sure am not going to go down to the Mall Santa and bring volumes of anti-Santa proof, pointing out all the inconsistencies of the Santa story and spend my next six hours proving my point.

I can’t imagine having a grudge against a guy who lived a couple of thousand of years ago (which is holding a grudge a pretty long time).

Listen guy, I don’t believe in unicorns, but if someone wants to draw them and post them on Mac Jams, I ain’t gonna spend my life posting to him that he’s wrong by using obscure references from Assyrian scholars who had a problem with unicorns; and then run a self serving commercial of myself at the end of it, which, by the way, has all of the validity of the unicorn.

You may be the poster child of “too enlightened for his own good”.

Now if you’ll excuse me, my beer is warming and I have spent too much time with you.

In summary, Jesus Christ died..... maybe everyone can agree on that

(albeit some would contest that is His name)

Yeah! Right! You're going to have trouble if he died when you gotta start by convincing that he lived!

Really tough deal this ancient (yet present) religion stuff. Even Han Solo was a tough sell!

"Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no substitute for a good blaster at your side."

It's a darn good thing he came around in time to help take out the Death Star!!! Still, he did his piece... with a blaster!

I don't like to take sides (sometimes)... But, just 'cause I believe in something really hard, doesn't make it truth. Or maybe it is truth, to me... sure, I've got facts an minds to back me up. There ya' go!

Pretty neutral, I think. 'Cause I am... neutral. Mr. Neutral. You may think I should be committed. Well, maybe I am!

I'm going to crawl in my corner and have some... some... lorazepam, or tramadol, viagra, or something!

By that our favorite Komrade means, I am sure, "People do have a tendency to finally succumb to the inexorable tug of entropy".

Right? You mean that right? Smile Boy what a day.
