I've got one and I like it. I also have an I mac and it too is a great machine. One thing to remember about the mini is that it has no monitor and the newest generation does not have analog VGA support. It has only DVI-D which you cannot use with an adapter to VGA because it does not have an analog component. If you have the monitor with DVI you are good to go.
It also does not have firewire 400 so any 400 devices you need with have to have an adapter cable from 800 to 400.
