Never heard of it; any good? I'm not sure why I'm asking since I won't buy anything from Sony anyway, I guess I am just curious about whether it's a good product and what kind of product it is.

yes...its very good...i have been using it for years since before sony bought out sonic foundry....(much the same way that apple did with magic)

sony have done a great job refining the original product ....

i would say sound forge is possibly the best audio editing software for the pc....it will be interesting to see how its ported to the mac after all these yrs
