Very true, however typically a Macjams song page either doesn't have multiple resources or this is accounted for, because, if you reload (or click the song title) the Macjams song "Hits" measure (which I believe Bent is referring to) appears to only step by +1 (at least for me), not +n.

Hence, basically, a "hit" (here on a Macjams song page) is equivalent to 1 view of the (song) page.

I agree, useless measure of popularity, and thus best ignored.
