iPhone / iPad question

I have an iPhone. I will be getting an iPad soon.

Will all my iPhone apps show up on the iPad, once I sync my iPad to the same Mac that I sync my iPhone to?

Or do I have to buy each app twice?

usually you can just open your apps on your ipad. sometimes the developer will not have made an ipad version so you just use the iphone version and hit the magnify button (not the most elegant solution). a couple of times I have encountered developers that will require a separate purchase if you want the ipad optimized version (hello propellorhead), but the large majority you use on both. if you set up the cloud, you will automatically have the app loaded to both devices.
