I've been enjoying this thread - thanks to all. Pablotone turned me on to C.S. Lewis as relates to the numinous. Not a concept I had investigated before.
Some see this awareness of an wholly otherness - mysterium - spirit - feeling beyond words - proof that there is some divinity behind this whole ball of wax. This what intrigues me because it transcends all faiths and cultures in one way or another. I think. Maybe. It's better to regret something you have done, than something you haven't done. |
