Almost as if you "knew" each other already. The warmth is obvious. Love you both. I'm so happy for you two. I'm sure Karen's and Andrew's partners had a good time as well. This is special.

Nice one! Isn't it great when you meet fellow MJers!? I am certain that MJ bonds can easily transcend the virtuality/reality divide.

It is wonderful when two spectacular people meet face to face for the first time. Must have been a very pleasant evening of conversation and, I suspect, a bit of music. Thank you for sharing the photos and a bit of your experience. You are both amazing in so many ways.

We had the most wonderful vacation in Seattle and Victoria BC.

Shopping at Pike's Place!
The view of Mount Rainier from the top of the Space Needle (no easy feat for a man with an acute fear of heights)!
The Ballgame at Safeco Field!
Catching John Pizzarelli at the Jazz Alley (He even signed my copy of The Fretboard Journal he was profiled in).
The ferry ride from Anacortes to Sidney!
Killer whale watching off San Juan island in a zodiac!
Hiking up Mount Finlayson (no easy feat for a man with an acute fear of heights)!
Driving the road to Mount Baker until I realized there were cliffs on one side and no guardrails (no easy feat for a man with an acute fear of heights)!

But by far the best part of the best vacation ever was meeting Karen! Take my word for it! She is every bit the wonderful, kind, and thoughtful soul you all know her to be, and even more so in person! Even if we hadn't done all the amazing stuff listed above, it would have been worth a flight from our corner of the country to the farthest corner just to meet magnatone!
