I don't post an awful lot in these forums, only now and again. I just thought I'd say thanks to all you wonderful musicians who make your tunes freely available. I've listened to some great music this week and have downloaded some wonderful things. I know how long it takes you to make them too and how much effort you put in, for little financial reward. My iPod and I are very happy.
So - thanks for all this. I've been here a long time now and have so much good music stored away. It's brilliant, really it is. Thanks! It's about time I changed this... |

Right there with you! I have an iPod dedicated completely to Mj downloads. The playlist is extensive and grows everyday! I'm continually blown away by the quality and diversity of the music posted at MJ. Keep them coming! I have more room on that iPod (and an excuse to buy a new one is always welcome)!

Agreed.
Formany, many years I “lurked” here and built up a marvelous collection of outstanding music tracks which even to this day I continue to enjoy. (I have added only a very small number of them to my favorites.) Almost every day I avail myself of the random music selector on this site and I am almost never disappointed. This, ladies and gentlemen, is what "music" truly is: the music stands for itself, and the commercial aspects (if any) are an important yet oddly secondary afterthought. That’s why I have lurked here for years: for the music. Which has always been outstanding. “Thank you for the music ... the songs I’m singin’ ..." Thank you. All. |

You know, I'm really glad MacJams has been here. I've got a great music library of original music. Listening also brings back memories of what was going on with the site at the time as well as people who've come and gone. All the best!

Well, thank you to Simon and Miguel and to those I can call my friends. I think MacJams gave me a community and a kind of avocation and my finding this place may have saved my life, what little I have of a life. I'm grateful for the music and the window into the world of creating music and song. Nice post.
