Mix/Master Anyone?
Monday, August 27 2012 @ 03:52 PM CDT

Part of my audio production course is coming up that focuses on mixing and mastering, and it sure would be helpful to get in some practise! So if you've got a song that you think could do with a spice up, or you're willing to let me at least have a try at spicing Razz then send me a PM and I've love to have a crack at it!
And of course, if you like what I bring back, then feel free to use Smile

Cheers people Big Grin

Then please by all means export the tracks as audio (or if you did it on Logic, just upload the logic file and audio folder). I've always used MediaFire in the past, but I've heard Dropbox is better for things like this, then just PM me a link.

Dropped you one, hope the link works and that you are interested enough in it to do a Mix/Master.

what format? include separate track layers? Id be interested in seeing what you can do with this one. I would think you would need the raw file with all of the tracks so you could remix each track, than do your mastering. Let me know if you are interested.

Anyone who's sent tracks or is sending tracks to me, just an FYI - next week is an exam week at uni so I won't be able to spend much time with you guys. But don't worry - I'm back in action on Wednesday!

I just checked my inbox for yours - found the stems. The message hadn't come up as unread so I didn't notice it was there. I'll get onto it on Wednesday Smile

Just a quick notice to newcomers to the thread, I've got a little bit of a backlog to clear so I may not be able to get back to you if you send in new tracks now. I'll update this as soon as I've finished with what I've already got.

Thanks for understanding Smile
