Ghost Site
Monday, December 17 2007 @ 06:08 AM CST

I am getting a bit bored with seeing the same old stories on the home page.

The lead article dated June is about a competition that lots of us entered but then it disappeared without trace or resolution. The last article is now well over a year old. I would have thought that anyone coming across the page by chance may well think that this is an old used up ghost town of a site. All we need is a few tumbleweeds rolling over it.

If the admins are reading this I think it is about time it was updated.

Cheers
Len

I'm a roaming cowboy riding all day long,
Tumbleweeds around me sing their lonely song.
Nights underneath the prairie moon,
I ride along and sing this tune.

See them tumbling down
Pledging their love to the ground
Lonely but free I'll be found
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds.

Cares of the past are behind
Nowhere to go but I'll find
Just where the trail will wind
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds.

I know when night has gone
That a new world's born at dawn.

I'll keep rolling along
Deep in my heart is a song
Here on the range I belong
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds.

Artist: Sons Of The Pioneers
Song: Tumbling Tumbleweeds

Stoneheads think alike - as the saying goes. I had a very similar thought Lenners.
I guess the admin have got plenty to get busy with but... I do get the impression from the dusty auld articles on the homepage that this is some kinda sanctum for eccentric hobbyists instead of a storehouse of some of the 21st Century's finest tunes and artists.
I say get a few pieces up giving a flavva of Macjams musicians and music. Particulary Bonnie Prince and Lengold - for some obscure reason I like those guys.

Cheers
Len
