Wait, wait..
What the hell is wrong with a little competition?! Have y'all gone soft sissy like here at MJ? C'mon people, his original idea was a great idea.. Why not have a virtual battle of the bands?? Y'all might have forgotten, but back in the day we used to have real competitions not "challenges"! With voting and rankings and even prizes for the winners!! If yer scared to lose then don't enter, but don't bash the idea because it's not "friendly" enough for ya.. Maybe if he puts up a prize for the winner some of you might grow a pair.

I think you are unnecessarily sharp with Adrian, Feter. Especially knowing that he is still a "newbie" here and doesn't know yet how everything works here. Otherwise peace

I live for competition.. Thats why I was a good Baseball player . And now a good musician.
Live is competition and I disagree with those that say music and art shouldnt be a competition. Call it what you want. But I get upset when I hear a better player than me. Just makes me work harder. It makes me practice more than normal. Now not everyone is built this way. I understand this. But I have a great desire to win and be the best. I cant help it. Some have it some dont... Never trust a housekeeper named Dusty! |

Close the competition. You WIN!!! Great song, recorded very well with no interference from "rock stars" or hyped-up producers. Search, listen and buy "The Return of the Well-Known Trout" on iTunes, and and "The State of the Onion" on iTunes, Amazon mp3, CD Baby, Digstation and many more. You'll be Glad You Did!!! |

Great POP song, love it.... but 'pop',especially to someone Adrian's age group, probably means something entirely different from what a lot of us here might imagine. There are so many styles and genre's in pop, depending on what era it's based on or from. I can't seem to get my head around some of today's pop songs, with no verses or middle eight; they just seem to be a lot of notes and words that just run on and on (pleasant though they might be). So we will need some specifics before we start. Are they to be pop disco? pop ballad? Pop folk? pop........old pop? new pop? progressive pop? Or are all those included? It's never too late.... is it? |
