No, i just think they should be treated equally as we treat men. So, i wouldn't change a word just to please women. I had a Mac and I went back! |

Ok, I'll admit that's a good strategy for someone who prefers the company of men. To each his own. screaming.org |

I'm new to to macjams and have to say I've had nothing more that warm comments, encouragment and great conversations. I presume that alot of those comments have come from 'the few'.
As I believe with everything in life, it's up to us to make the effort and push ourselves forward.
So many great songs could just pass by as it's impossible to listen to everything, and the artist drawing attention to themselves and their work would benefit them as was my case. I've noticed peoples names up on 'who's online' and havn't once read a single word in chat by them.
I believe it's important for everyone to play an active part in this community and then there wouldn't be this notion of 'the few' as it would become the many.
I've worked in creative industries and have had friends that felt that promoting themselves is a form of prostitution. Unfortunately for them the phone never rings!
As regards ratings, surely they should be taken as a pinch of salt. It is purely an opinion and isn't natural for friends to want to encourage other friends by rating them well?
Additionally, do you not believe that the opinion of others is not of importance as it's what the person that created the piece originally intention and as to whether that intention, is fully satisfied to their want.
I for one would not publish anything unless I was 100% happy with it. It's probably why my output is so slow! Any comments afterwards is kind, but not a basis for making changes. That is unless in your heart of hearts you already had doubts or are just soliciting validation!
Sorry, this has all been poorly written. My brain isn't working today
