I'm happy/you happy?
Monday, November 12 2007 @ 07:11 PM CST
Just a note of gratitude to Simon and Miguel for starting this thing in the first place. Sure we're having some buggy server issues at the moment - but the important thing - the music - seems to be better than ever.
It's better to regret something you have done, than something you haven't done. |

Thank you, bud, for steppin' out with some proactive positivity...
And continued thanks to Simon and Miguel, for the MacJams experience... Ed "We have to remember...when it's surrender that's called for, it's not surrender of your brains. It's surrender of your ego. It's a different thing." --Bruce Cockburn |

I'm happy too! And I'm glad I don't have to keep it running. It's not a trivial task considering all the media and comments stored for the site. Thanks Simon and Miguel

Me too-
I was thinking, I had a few months of other stuff going on in my life, visiting infrequently, not posting much, etc. etc. But when I was ready to come back and post some songs & hear some new stuff, here MacJams was, ready to accept my new posts, maintained and ready for me. Really, it's priceless! So- Thanks from me, Simon & Miguel. This place rocks, and when you're done fiddling with code and twiddling with servers, I'm sure it'll be even better. That's just the way you guys are. |

Nope, I didn't get one. But I'm happy. All I did was change my browser. Crap, I even had to change it for my Yahoo account also because they don't support my version of Safari anymore. Some people fear change more than others. On one hand we have to feel pretty lucky to have such a kick-ass "FREE" website. Simon and Miguel don't ask for any money from anyone, so I think NOBODY has room to bitch. I think they do a great job to support this site with out asking for any "dues" or "donations". Admin bent over backwards when a few months ago, the community was unhappy about the T+C's. They could of told us to jump off a bridge, we are NOT changing anything. But they took the time to listen and read everyones posts concerning the T+C's and came up with a new version. If that isn't concern about your clients, than I don't know what is. So I guess my opinion is, if your not happy with MacJams, start a thread and discuss it with the community. This site is not an individual site, but a COMMUNITY site. By doing this, at least the community and the Admin can read whats making you unhappy and possibly try to change it. Besides, having "NEW" servers is a hell of a lot better than NOT being able to get on to MacJams because of a server crash, don't you think? Personally, I changed to FireFox and couldn't be more happy with it. It has better security features and a crap load of very useful "add-on" applications that blow Safari out of the water. So I couldn't be more happy with MJ's. I've been able to load the homepage EVERYDAY since the server change. So if I need to change my browser to enjoy MJ's. So be it. I LOVE change. It's what keeps the world and MJ's moving forward into the future. Chris |
