Lists

I'm not sure if anyone has addressed this or if I'm the only one who has a problem with this, but I can remeber those lists that had things like "top hits," "highest rated," and things of that nature. I know there are some links you can go to in order to see all of the lists, but I really missed the options I had before where I could choose which lists I wanted to see on the side (like the forums and who was online). Am I crazy or is there something I can do to get that back? Does anyone else feel the same way?

It was brought up about 2 weeks ago as well. I'm too new to know any different, but it sounds like a good feature.

If you click on the More button up the top and look down the page there's a bit says Lists and a page of Boxes with Fans, Rated etc comes up.
It used to be on the right hand side of this page but got taken off for some reason.
I wouldn't mind seeing it come back too

Skean, what does it all mean?
They seem to be rated based on songs in the past week as far as I can tell. Except Participation Picks... I can't figure that one out.

Good eye: they are all songs posted within the last week; 7 days after posting your song, it's out of the running for the 'ratings' and 'fans' lists. All songs, though, are eligible for the 'Participation' list which is the most recent song by the current most active members, sort of like getting a grade for "effort". Before the site was redesigned, these three lists were on the right column of everyone's home page; you could see at a glance the most popular recent posts by number of "Fans" and by high "Ratings". 'Participation' let you see who was commenting a lot or posting a lot in the forums.

Now that the lists are no longer on peoples' homepages, MJ can seem a little like a world of 'island universes'............

So, how do we request to go back to that? Is someone able to start a voting thread for new or old MacJams setup or something? Actually, I think I will do that, I'm new here so I don't know the difference first hand, but read enough comments to see it is a desire.
