Alesis Multimix 8 not showing up

Recently my computer stopped seeing the multimix 8 in the sound control panel, however the System Profiler sees it. Does anyone know what I might be able to do? It's the first Alesis Multimix 8 USB mixer. I am running a Quicksilver 800 MHz G4, and OSX 10.4.11

Yes I did. I also zapped the PRAM.
