Site seems to be getting more troublesome.

Recently I have had a lot of visits to MacJams where the site is incredibly slow, or just times out altogether with a "Unable to access" message. I can't recall the exact message, but something to do with not being able to access a database server; if it persists I'll record the exact wording for a report. I can't help wondering if this is a hosting issue, as the site has been much faster in the past, and rarely timed out. Anyone know what's happening?

Me too. Maybe it's a UK thing as we three are from the UK. Even though my flag at the moment is the USA one, I'm still in the UK. Scotland to be exact, at the moment.

Simon and Miguel have been in touch and are aware of the situation. They say they are working to address whatever the problems are.

Been happening to me too and the laughable part was that it said 'Woah! Sorry, busy night' .. When it came on a bit later, there were only three people online.

There seem to be two issues with the server. One is when it is slow and we get the "busy night' notice - and the other more troubling one is the SQL error that prevents the site from launching at all. Last week it was totally down for a day and a half.
Hopefully it will be remedied.
