Solid, well built and versatile as is most of my experience with Behringer products. It ships with a case, foam pop screen and shock mount. I've left the foam pop screen in the case, and wish they'd shipped with a popper stopper style (hoop with a mesh cover). but at the price point I have no complaints. It has 3 switchable patterns (Omni, Figure-eight, and of course Cardioid) bass rolloff and -10db pad switches making this a fully rounded professional level tool. It may not have that "Neuman magic" but it doesn't have a Neuman price tag either. If you can only afford to have one mic, I'd still recommend you buy a Sure SM58 - just for it's pure simplicity and versatility, but if you're ready to take a few steps into the world of recording with condensers, this is a good versatile tool, at a price that won't break your budget. |
