Lyrics
Coyhaique (a few might have changed)
Sitting by the road, there's no pueblo there's no town,
And we're thinking about how cold it'll get when the sun goes down,
Four trucks of tourists just drove on by
So I'm wishing them bad karma like maybe they'll die
On the road, on the road, to Coyhaique,
Oh Coyhaique, I just hope that we get there some day,
So many games of cards and there's little left to say to
My amigos, the rich kid and the girl in zigzags
The clouds have a stranglehold over how we think and feel
Rich kid says sun's coming soon red cheeks says shut up and deal,
One can of tuna, a bit of crumble bread
I'm in love with the girl whose cheeks are always red
Whose cheeks are always red,
I'm in love with the girl
Wish I had a completo, or better yet a ride
Eating dulce de leche by the side of the road on the road to
Coyhaique, of Coyhaique, I know that we'll get there someday,
You've become my garden, oh my promised land,
If only my mouth weren't full of sand
The road is awful long,
after all the cars are gone
Now I'm not saying the road treated me unkind,
It's just the hitch-hiking state of mind
The Israeli Solider left cause he just saw no end,
He loved red cheeks, he was my dear friend.
Now my thoughts begin to ramble , my feet begin to ache,
Just how much suffering can a man take?
On the road to Coyhaique, oh Coyhaique,
I have to believe that we'll get there someday,
You're become the vision of my true promise land,
If only my mouth wasn't full of sand
The road is awful long,
after all the cars are gone
Now I'm not saying the road treated me unkind,
It's just the hitchhiking state of mind
On the road to Coyhaique

I love this song. It's always been one of my favorites. It's catchy and makes me happy. The beginning seems a little sloppy; the guitars seem to be in disagreement. Maybe one of them is just too loud.
