Description

A song about the daily f-ing way of living, where we so easily forget about life, fun, and dreams. I play all instruments except the drums as usual. I put some extra time into the mixing of this one, kind of needed it. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

wow...yeah, Eno-ish
Another great track from Mikki! You've got a distinct sound and tend to put things together really well. I liked this one a lot as it's got a relentless chugging that is quite addictive. I thought the break broke it up nicely, but I was thinking some sort of intense buzzsaw guitar soloing over the last round of choruses would have pushed it up to another level. The ending pretty cool.

	Top stuff... Excellent post punky kind of feel. This has a great energy to it. Nice guitar sounds. Great use of the drum track. My only suggestion is that the energy might feel slighly more intense if you shortened it a little; I'm not sure it needs the piece immediately before the end where you do the call-and-response type vocals. 	Good Sound This is sweetly reminiscent of early Brian Eno pop and some of his early productions (like the early Talking Heads). Very well performed and excellent production. Oh ... and as I listen here comes the warm ... U2 guitar sound. :)

	:) Very catchy energy. Me likey. Having Talking Heads and Eno mentioned earlier I can hear it too. Overall your music style is very unique but it does have similar personality to Eno and David Byrn. It's your own sound, and it is great. The simple lyrics on this song work alright, though I think they could be better, more thought out. Check out my latest song called From Nothing

Thanks to all of you
Eno, Talking Heads and U2, that's great things to
mentioned together with... I've honestly never been
listening to TH, or Eno (other than something he did
produce, perhaps what you mean, uh).... I am just trying
my best to "find a sound" and the sound happens to be
very different between the songs, or in different periods of
my creativity. To me it has more and more become very
important not to be afraid of styles, but rather try to do
music that comes directly from within me. Tell a story.
Communicate a feeling.
The lyric where done in this simplistic way because I kind
liked doing that with this song. I am still unsure about
whether they holds up or not. I like to explore simplicity
and lmost end up being naive at times. It's an interesting
game! :)

very good
i am especially impressed with how you put all various
aspects of this song together ... pieces of puzzle FIT! ...
panning of sounds is very pleasing, drums in particular ...
minimalist lyrics seem more detailed than they are on
page because you sing them well ... last part of song
seems just slightly long ... but this is small gnat ... this
also reminds me of my father's old The Kinks records! ...

	Thanks That's kind of where I was heading with the lyrics, to make them very simple (of course every word is still very much chosen), but to let the music bring them up as well as my voices.
