I tend to think from this angle anyway, but this sounds like the track to a movie; easily one about the horrors of Fat Man going off over Nagasaki. I like the composition, but the first half sounded a little thin to my ears. The last third gets really evocative, and it's my favorite part.

I know musical classifications are inexact, but is this really an "Alternative/Indie Rock" piece? :) Seems more "Abstract/Experimental/FX"-ish to me. --D

Your are very perceptive, I am very impressed. It was my intention to keep
first part simple: a quiet, normal day interrupted, and the absolute
emotionless shock that came before anybody realized what happened. The
real horror of full realization came later - as a second part. Yes, I've had a
hard time with classifications. And perhaps I made it a little too complicated
or maybe not so, since you read it so clearly.

Oh man…
Penderecki's "Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima"
is such an amazing and powerful piece of music so I
had to listen to this to hear what it had inspired you
to create. As you know, I'm a fan of your stuff anyway
but this is definitely an interesting, nay startling,
change in direction. Very creepy and scarily evocative
of the sort of stuff that fascinates but frightens me at
the same time. This would fit some of the live action
Japanese Manga films (like Tetsuo), which in turn
were inspired by the impact that the attacks on Japan
had on the country's national consciousness.
Powerful stuff!

Oh man…
Thanks for giving me so much credit. I hope one day I will be able to say I
fully deserve it :-) It's very encouraging.

Frightening
Without the title, I wouldn't have guessed this was about an atom bomb attack. However, knowing the title, this really conjured up images when I listened to this track. Very interesting. :O)
