Description
Not fullly EQ'd and beutified, probably could do with shortening and a few touches here and there, but all the elements are there to make this the best tune ive made imo.

cool stuff
i liked this, but like you mentioned, it needs a little
"beautification"! as well it did seem to be a tad to long,
but nothing to drastic. it definitely is better than anything
i've come up with!!! :)

Good stuff
Nice sounds and a great drum groove. Really like the
drums. Yes I think you need to EQ it as there is a lot of
volume peaking going on..but that shouldn't be too
difficult to sort out. It is a cool tune!

Drum Loop...
Good stuff, groovin' that's what it's all about right. Where
did you get the Drum Loop? Is it from a Jam Pack or a 3rd
party, or better did you program it yourself?

Drum Loop...
Cheers eDrew for reviewing yet another of my tunes!
I never used looped anything, so yeah all the beats are programmed by myself, furthermore, none of the sounds are presets, I made them all myself, if not entirely from scratch!

I got another version of this in the pipeline, watch out for that - and once all me exams are over and I can trust myself to reconnect to the internet, I can start really concentrating on producing, and reviewing, tunes

Nice groove!
Hypnotic driving sound. I'm facinated that you do all the drum programming. They sound really good. How do you do that? Beats are something I have trouble with. I have no software other than GB
Great tune

Nice groove!
Cheeers pal! Im really glad people are feeling this, because i at first thought it might be a bit strange for people.

This is the best way to get good home meade rythyms:
1) Purchase or purloin some of the sample CDs that come with music magazines: they usually include loads and loads of good drum samples, often even listed by genre. Alternatively, there are loads of free downloads available off the net.
2) Using the piano roll makes it tricky as hell! For some reason having a more simple layout makes it a lto easier, as it visually represents the beats better. So other programmes like Cubase, which has the option of a Drum roll would be handy. Alternatively, get that iDrum thing, designed for Garageband, I hmessed around with the demo and its really good, runs along the lines of fruity loops. Laod into it all your cool samples.
3) Try to fill every line with a different drum. Double layer your ain kick and snare, but have host of sidekicks and that and stugg going on aswell to give it a real syncopated complicated ffeel, which is what i like, or alternatively, make it really minimalist and slightly of beat I reckon a good beat usually looks on the page like a wave as one drum comes after the other with no respite - so its important to have loads of different sounds, cowbeells and bongos being really good if used discreetly.
4) this is something someone recommended to me but i aint tried yet: buy a teach yourself the drums book from a music shop - it will have loads of beats tabulated which you can just write in and mess around with at your leisure, no cordination needed.

So thats all I can say really, and sorry if i sound patronising, Ive just made a lot of progress in this field recently myself, so im quite full of it and excited. Get yourself RMIV Linplug, its probably whats helped me the most.
