Lyrics
Grain apon grain
like sand, absent moments grate
I live in your echo
with hope I can't forsake

Sail on, sail on without me
move on, i'll move on when the sea is empty

I could wait a lifetime
but what kind of life would that be
You could take up my time
but what's the use if there's only me

Leaves change their shades
red like fire, they spread ablaze
and you still wont fade
as time takes its time to heal the ache

Fall down, fall down and blow away
I'm out, I'm too down and out to break

I could wait a lifetime
but what kind of life would that be
You could take up my time
but what's the use if there's only me

Excellent...
... I'm in awe of these soundscapes. Very cleverly put
together. It's very grandiose, and Beth's voice takes on a
very different, wilder flavour on these songs.

Delicious combo
You two make such a great combo. The juxtaposition of
the gritty back drop against FB's voice is really compelling.
Keep giving us more tasty treats you two. Cheers!

OOOh
another fabulous track from the two of you.
Fb, your vocals are great in this, sounding better and
more confident all the time.
Silver, your musci is great, I like the panning effects you
used on Fb's vocals, nice use of the other vocal samples
too.
Great team work!

Great mix of styles.
I agree with iSpike about the industrial background with
the light voice. Very nice. I would have liked to hear her
voice up just a bit in the mix. The panning is cool but she
gets buried here and there. That's just picky, though. This
is great!

Nice contrasts and textures

Seriously good!
Not much to add, except the combination REALLY
works! Shows that you can use the rough and the
smooth and get seriously good results.
Thanks!

Yum
This is the sort of track that can open doors. Its a little too
ecclectic for the radio hit list, but you could earn more
than a few fans with this song. The production is excellent
and the vocals are quite good, quite confident. The
pairing is unusual, but not at all odd. In fact, I could
envision this mixture of, as jgurner coined, "sandpaper
and silk" creating quite a following. If anything I'd suggest
emphasizing the contrast of audio elements and vocals
even more. Great piece!
