Description
Greetings fellow lifers. With the posting of Excalibyr, you now have all of the songs on my concept album Excalibyr and Other Stories. Of course, with the exception of convergence, none are the final versions which, hopefully are a tad more polished.
What you don't have is Professor Driemanis' narrative that (again hopefully) connects the songs into some sort of cohesive unit. I've included this piece to give you an idea of what the story is. The background is all loops and samples, with the exception of the whining dog, which is Storm. At least she did it in one take.
I had started out with aspirations of Ziggy Stardust and Tommy. It ended up more like the Happiness Stan side of Ogden's Nut Gone Flake.
If anyone's interested, the order of songs on the album is: convergence, Nightmares, Wasted, 6-4-3, Motherworld, Excalibyr, Dorian, McCracken's Note, 47,000 Kobolds and Crysler's Farm.
I'd also like to thank everybody who took the time to comment and offer suggestions and in particular RS, Drak, Attie, Tobin and TennesseeVic for their frank observations that proved quite useful.
cheers all

I don't know what he's talking about, but those initial suppositions must be way out there. Not sure why, but I just find this really beautiful. Cool. --D
