Not that I didn't love your recent tribute(s) to the great artists who've inspired you, but this is a nice trip back to the Mikki that first caught my ear. Love that you're using your more natural voice again. The lower pitch really works with this tune. Kind of "Sisters of Mercy" like. Seems these lyrics are more deeply personal than the last few songs as well. Welcome back!
Can tell you're really proficient now with the technical GB stuff. The complexity and layering and overall sound is really amazing.
