Description:
Ok.... the first collab with pgreenstone... talent and class.... :) THANKS!!!

Peter: This was a very cool first experience
collaborating with Sil-VER. He came to me with this
incredible music he was working on and asked me to
come up with lyrics and perform the vocals.
Immediately, I felt inspired by the sounds and rhythms
he'd put together. I'm so glad he asked me to
collaborate with him on this. A real honor for me.

Your comment please...

Lyrics:
Give your bodies to me
Let me crack your spine
You will bend to me
You will learn in time

Are you afraid of me
are you afraid of me
It's easier when you believe

You will Be my army
You will be my enemy
The half that kills the other
feeds my ideology

I come in peace
I come in peace
Freedom isn't free
so bow down to me

Do you love it enough to kill for me
You know I wouldn't hurt you
I love you that much
When I breathe for you
just move your lips
When the pain's too much
the safety word is SCREAM

...really top-notch collaboration here. Your styles are
perfectly matched; this doesn't sound like something you
put together from a distance.
Outstanding performances on both sides...what more can
I say?

Beatiful production - the style is not normally my cup of
tea, but can really appreciate the talent in both
performance and production.

What an amazing amount (and variety) of talent on

Great! &mdash 06/06/05 - 07:12:15 AM
Fantastic...reminicent of NIN. Fantastic production, I don't
know why but I really had to turn up the volume to hear
this track. I think I would have like a little more short
squeeks and scratches in the slow parts, make the song a
little more "Industrial" sounding, but that's personal
peferance.

Big Brother goes techno &mdash 06/06/05 - 11:38:50 AM
A horrible monster trying to assure a frightened child.
This song excoriates Big Brother who wages what some
call peace and some call war. Innocent people caught in
the vise of mindless and soulless aggression are now
permitted to scream. What safety is there in that when the
hurting has already permeated their entire being? Less of
a Safety Word and more of a "I've Already Been Violated"
Word -- The scream proclaims a violation of one's human
dignity.

two great talents = one great song &mdash 06/06/05 - 12:03:54 PM
This is totally amazing.

I have enjoyed both Sil-VER's and pgreenstone's individual
tunes in the past; each has distinct individual talents. But
to combine them together in this collab is even MORE
powerful.

The music is awesome as usual. The lyrics and vocals
complement it perfectly.

(Gosh, can I come up with any more superlatives to
describe this? Hope you're not drowning in honey!)

Anyway, GREAT JOB, both of you.

P.S. When I hear a collab work this well, my first instinct is
to hope for an entire ALBUM created by the two of you. It
would kick some major a**.

you give Sil-VER a copy of the FB Jam Pack?

Alien DNA &mdash 06/07/05 - 09:35:08 AM
Really cool driving industrial sound, Mr. Sil-VER. Really tasty.
Mr. PGreenstone, you certainly have a very, very versatile voice, a great singer.
You're the one with the alien DNA.

Alien DNA and a fickle finger for the keen swine! Powder and salt makes for
a heavy dipped salsa based cinamon stew! Keep those nickers up and
play me a round of golf cause this one is right on par! Crush those skulls
and destroy those spines my demonic twin brothers of humber dink shrew!

accompanied over an impeccable production by imparable
SIL-VER. Congratulations.

It's Band Formation Time &mdash 06/10/05 - 11:55:57 PM
I'm VERY impressed with the choices you made as a vocalist, Peter. I love it that you whispered, "scream," it's just so unexpected and just so much cooler than if you had done a full out Chris Cornell on it.

And Sil-VER the backing track is way cool and exceptionally well produced. It's seamless. How long did it take you guys to finish this?

It's Band Formation Time &mdash 06/11/05 - 12:49:42 AM
Thanks. Sil-VER had done most of the music before he even contacted me.
From the time he asked me to come up with the lyrics and do the vocals I think
it may have been five days or so until it got posted.

The Tyranny of Abduction &mdash 07/14/05 - 07:59:24 AM
Could be the first alien abduction song I recall ever hearing.
Altho it could also be about abusive relationships, abusive
governments, tyrants of any stripe. This song has such an
edge, it could even be under Industrial. I really liked how
uncomfortable it made me feel, how the shapes kept
changing, how the lyrics fit the bed, how pro the mix and
performances all are. Peter, great vocals; SIL-ver, great
setting and wonderful mix.

Soundtrack for feardotcom II &mdash 07/14/05 - 01:44:40 PM
Man, I almost missed this! (Thanks for the heads up, Tobin.) What a cool track. Ambiguously perverse. Soundtrack for feardotcom II. Or the adult version (director's cut?) of War of the Worlds. If this isn't Vaudeville Punk Soap Opera, don't know what is. You guys and Tense, makes me want to re-read Clockwork Orange.
