Very nice! &mdash 06/12/05 - 06:48:23 PM
Nice buildup and contrast to the entrance of the solo
instrumentals. Great mood and effects...would go well as
a background to film/cinema.
Some ambient voices might be cool, too.

Excellent post! Thank you.

wowsers. &mdash 06/13/05 - 01:08:32 PM
I can almost hear this with vocals, but then again I'd be afraid it would ruin it. What a fun tune...love the buildup...the modulated keyboard part kills. Love it.

Beautiful &mdash 06/13/05 - 01:58:08 PM
very nice ambient chillout here.
yes, could have vocals but excellent without.
Love all that layering you have in there. nice production and
arrangement.

Good to chill out to. &mdash 06/13/05 - 02:21:34 PM
Great soundscapes and use of pans in a stellar piece of
composition.

It'd be good on a sci-fi soundtrack too.

Rather good! &mdash 06/13/05 - 05:29:33 PM
Nice sense of drama to this piece, I like those fleeting
synth sounds a lot. High quality production overall!

Really fun... &mdash 06/13/05 - 05:29:34 PM
I'm rubbish at critiquing electronic pieces, but this has a
lot of really energy... Your lines are melodic in such a
fresh way.

mannfred &mdash 06/16/05 - 03:18:02 PM
Yupp, I suddenly noticed that Mannfred Mann-ish synth you put in half way out in the song. Actually I heard them live last year and they still put on a good show.

Dig this music. Nice build up and clever arranged.

The flute that appears and playes the melody reminds me of the music in a mac game called "Kyberia":-)

Well done!

Wow.... from the ethereal... &mdash 06/17/05 - 09:00:16 AM
sounds at the beginning through the fabulous changes. This is one really cool music track. I really liked it. The movement in this finely composed piece and the production, really everything about it.... kudos!

very cool melodies/sound track &mdash 06/18/05 - 04:42:43 AM
this was a great listen. excellent build up to very cool melodies. good orchestration. you may be able to take to the next level with a higher quality palette of instruments. the tone of some of the sounds sounded very casio .. although i kind of enjoyed that retro/sci-fi feel. thanks for sharing.

Very Good &mdash 06/18/05 - 05:06:20 AM
I can imagine this as parts of a soundtrack - I like the
melodies and the transitions between sections very well, the
change in dynamics is interesting and enjoyable to me. I also
like your selection of instruments (I'm a retro kind of guy).
Production is clean and supports rather than detratcs form
the music. I can hear where parts of this can be explored
further to create different songs.

title &mdash 06/19/05 - 03:56:24 PM
Hey big E,

yes, this is very cool with lots of cool melodies and
atmosphere.
Like the old school sounds and feel.
Good job.

Good stuff! &mdash 06/20/05 - 06:25:20 PM
Good form, good melodies, kicks ass!

I would say that the piano at the end seems to have a
different modal sound. Might have to change a couple of
notes to keep it in character with the piece.

I enjoyed it!

Good stuff! &mdash 06/21/05 - 01:19:31 PM
It was my plan to have it different and sort of distant, like a happy childhood
memory or something.
Hence the name.

Thanks for the listens!

Drama, textures, control, Kitaro strong &mdash 06/29/05 - 01:46:46 PM
Drama, excellent mixing, great pacing; reminds me of
Kitaro. Wonderful changing textures, I especially love the
Moog. I'd put this track under something other than Adult
Soft Rock, tho, perhaps New Age or Ambient. Very solid
track, pro, clean, skilled, so clean it borders on antiseptic,
but I dug it immensely.

Cool &mdash 11/08/05 - 04:20:07 PM
Great flow to the track, emotional buildup and climax. And I like the slow intro, and echoey sound to the track.

sensual &mdash 01/04/06 - 08:41:14 PM
i like the sensual nature of the track... i agree with alot of the other
comments in that this could be a cinema track - or paired with very
emotional imagery... cool

all the way around - very nice. I also enjoyed the ziti-ied version.
You've got a great gift for penning songs.
