Description
Based on a true experience. As you can probably tell this was done with all loops, and was orignally a poem I had written, but modified to make it a song. Enjoy.

Love the sparce feel of the music which accentuates your great voice, I like the story feel of the vocal line.

A Little
A little Elvis Costello, a little Steve Winwood. Could use
some refinement lyrically and vocally, but you've got a
great start.

Wow
First of all, you have an amazing voice and the ability to
communicate a song. Wow. I like the song a lot in general,
but I did feel maybe it lost a little energy in what might be
called the bridge section. (I would have to listen to it again
to be sure.) Still, as I said previously: Wow.

Thanks
Thanks for the comments. Fosod, I went back and listened to the song again, I do hear Elvis Costello in there. It surprised me! Again thanks!

enjoyed your song
Catchy chorus, clever song title and nice vocals.
As a bit of constructive criticism, I agree with another post
about the bridge, that it lost some of the song's energy,
and I think that is because the song, as a whole, stayed in
C major for too long. A bridge should ideally be a break
away point to really change the pace and feel, and so
when you get back to the chorus, it should feel like you've
been somewhere, and the chorus feels fresh again. That
said, your song is one of the better ones on MacJam to be
sure.
I think you have a really good singing voice and if you're
interested in my song, (and I'm posting more soon) you're
welcome to sing them for me!

Great vocals
I wish you would post your lyrics. Your vocal sound is
fantastic. Your vocals drive this piece, reaching past the
soft piano slippery cymbal crashes. Costello and
Winwood, yes, and Gabriel too. Goodness. But the piano
is so soft, the mix could be more balanced and the
drumming could be better integrated. Yet. Wow, I really
hope you do more singing. You've got whatever it is souls
are waiting to hear.
