accidentally
they shoot the clerk
the clerk dies


SCENE ONE : a dark road outside of Amarillo, Texas

on the run from something running towards fame
a girl and a boy a lipstick and a kiss
dreams of love and a COLT 66
they're going to L.A.
they're going to find fame

PLOT POINT ONE :
Route 66!!!

SCENE TWO : a motel room nearby Winslow, Arizona
a boy and a girl in a dirty cheap motel
lovemaking made in USA
flashing blue lights outside
cops run in and they take them down
they're going to jail
they're going to stay

PLOT POINT TWO :

EPILOGUE:
it's not worth shooting a clerk for the price of fame

Been to Winslow. Cops couldn't catch a cold dripping wet
in a blizzard.

Very cool song. Loved the chorus, The vocals rocked.
Synths were a nice touch to a driving road song.

Love the stripped down guitar sounds, the chorus reminds
me of The Clash...really interesting production ideas here.

the music fits nicely
hey, like that siren and the music there, wow!

Gets real interesting especially when you begin with that
siren (that section there)

Being mentioned with CLASH is a huge honor (as we have a
car with the license plate named CLASH)! :) I've been
listening to a lot of Joe Strummer lately, perhaps there's
where the musical inspiration comes from?
