Description
Brought over one track at a time from my Roland VS 1824 to GarageBand. It sounds 1,000 times better in the GarageBand mix than it ever did on the Roland!

Lyrics
Reaching
Dave Placko © 1997
I think I might be gettin' on
I might be loosin' it all
So, if I die before I wake
Who's gonna break my fall?
I see it now
It's right out there in front of my face
And if I could just catch a hold of it
I'd find out what it's got to say
Now, I'm on my own
It's not what it's cracked up to be
If I could just get that across
What a better world this would be
I see it now
It's right out there in front of my face
And if I could just catch a hold of it
I'd find out what it's got to say
And when that's the end of it all
No more are there children that die
I don't think that any of us
Will be worthy of the light
But I, I don't know
If that's the way it's supposed to be
And if it is, I guess
I'll just have to take it that way

This is a pretty great sounding. I like the live percussion and all. The vocals and harmonies are really great.
I have to admit I'm not really sure what it is you are trying to say in the lyrics.. It's like a daydream that sort of wanders around the point...but that could be easily said about any one of my songs, LOL!
