Lyrics
It comes and it goes this feeling I have
so hard to pertain it to what you could mend
and I won't believe what they tell me
no matter how high--

You're walking a tightrope from them unto me and polishing bruises so eloquently
I can't undertake what you came for no matter the time

They're talking about it all over town
how you had your way with me in your rounds
and I won't believe it no I'll never go
I won't believe it I'll never know.

You're like a proud peacock strutting around or like a good book
I just can't put it down
your heads in the halo but my my head is under the ground.

Position your standard this intricatly
a bet on your stature and that you will leave
and I won't believe what they tell me no matter the time.

chorus

It comes and it goes this feeling I have
so hard to pertain it to what you could mend
and I won't believe what they tell me
no matter how high--

Very pro
Like the way this develops, the drums are really good, and usage of trumpet is pretty unique. How was this recorded? Filling a few more details would be good, but it's a great song, very well sung...

Throwback
Pretty refreshing pop. Reminds me of seriously updated
retro pop from the '60s. Nice harmonies. Great song.
Heard a whole bunch of things that it reminded me of, but
all that made it unique.

Cooker!
Good solid time, good tune. Trumpet part well played
also with a good tone. Wish you had written the lyrics in
the Song Info spot as well as hardware.
I miss the bass. Maybe you could put together a bass part
with the loops in GB. Everything else is top shelf, except
for one chord in the guitar in the tag.
I enjoyed listening and thanks!

brass section
My two cents - I'd triple track the trumpet and make a
"brass section" track to fill things out. The single note
trumpet part playing throughout the song draws attention
to itself - I think it'd sound better multitracked playing
chords in certain parts such as the choruses. Also, there's
some distortion during the chorus - I'd solo each track
and figure out where that's coming from - vocals is my
most likely guess. Really good song otherwise.
