Description
Song I improvised upon finding a soundfont Sax sound that is very similar to a sound that came stock on the Korg T series synths - I used to love riffing with those, but never had the scratch to buy one. Anyway, when I fount the SF and started playing around w/ it I just sort of started "rolling tape" and came up w/ most of this. There is a bit of editing here and there, and the bass line (as you can probably tell) is a tweeked copy of the sax line. I then added the electric piano and windchimes to give it a bit more flavor.

"...it was a stormy night. I was checking my desk for a lost
bottle of gin when the dame burst through my door. She
looked like a cat that just got fished out of the canal. Her
dime store dress clung to her like a guilty conscience and
from under a matted pile of golden curls her desperate
gaze shot an unspoken word straight through my heart.
'Trouble.'"
That sax sounds excellent. The breath and vibrato are
chilling. This conjures up so many scenes from black and
white movies viewed through sleepless eyes in the middle
of the night.
