Description:
This piece was my reaction to the 2004 US election, hence the title, and I was trying for the style of a soundtrack to a early-'60s "caper" movie. I thought the concept was clever, but when I posted the score at Sibelius Music, someone from the Christian Right fired off a scathing review. No sense of humor.
The sheet music for this piece is available for a nominal fee at
my page at SibeliusMusic where you can also watch the music go by as the tune plays.
(I think that the original, non-GarageBand, MIDI version posted there sounds better, anyway.)
Hardware:
Dual 1.25GHz "Mirrored Drive Door" G4
Software:
Sibelius 3
Garageband

Sounds like... &mdash 06/29/05 - 09:26:51 PM
...it could have been used in the Tony Curtis, Jack Lemon
classic "The Great Race." Fun tune. Would be good for a
young band. As for the sore "winners," who cares. Let 'em
rant til they're blue (oh, wait, I guess they'd be red) in the
face. [ Reply to This ]
