Lyrics:
Don'tcha Preach at meIt doesn't really matter bay-be just what you say
Cuz I ain't gonna listen to ya anyway.
While you whine and complain about the way things are
Just pointin' out the problem ain't gonna get us very far
Gimme real solutions to the way things oughta be
Or give it a rest bay-be, don'tcha preach at me.
Well I know you think you got a real raw deal
Well maybe you did but give it time to heal
Still it ain't no reason to be on my case
Cuz just bein' human ain't no big disgrace
Life's fulla questions, ain't no guarantee
Suck it up, bay-be don'tcha preach at me
You say that your solutions will fix up what's wrong,
But it's the same old story you bin tellin' all along
And why would you be thinkin' you know everything,
When all you're really good at is just arguing
You ain't gonna solve it with your PhD,
Take a hike bay-be, don'tcha preach at me.
You say you need your understandin', need your space to grow,
Well the more I learn bay-be, the less I know,
And instead of feelin' safety I would rather feel good
Life is fulla hazards babe, it's understood
You can wrap it up in rainbows but still it's gonna be
Welcome to the train-wreck don'tcha preach at me.

This is how it should be done! Great writing, great playing, with incredible turns of phrase and a chugging rhythm section. Great job all around!

Looks like Ziti has become the MacJams hired gun lately.
Snowdragon, your vocals fit this song great. Don't forget
to come back after the fairs.
Mr. S
Shred that guitar bro. Straight killed it again. vocals tone
is perfect for the feel. Splendid!

Yeah, that was great, you guys. Like Jim said.
Only a couple of nits: 1. You took a breath in the middle of
the word "solutions" in the first verse. 2. I think the vocals
could use perhaps a "rockabilly" echo or something like that
to make them more in the space of the rest of the music.
The performance (minus nit # 1) is great but I think it could
be mixed/fx'ed a little better.
Damn fine playing, Ziti.
Boogie on, guys.
I'd be interested hearing this with Peter's production
suggestions. Makes me want to google to see if ZZ Top are
coming out with another album soon.

until I listened to this. Great piece. Ziti is phenomenal in
this tune. I often suggest to him that he needs less reverb
in his wonderful mixes. Here I think his reverb needs to
come down to match the vocal. Give it more of a small
club feel? Regardless, I really enjoyed this tune. Excellent
collab. Don't work too hard, snow.
Canada? Apparently so! Very cool down the middle of the
road blues song. Ziti, your guitar is dripping with rocking
blues. And snow... this vocal performance, you may have
to move down to Chicago and join the music scene there.

Great work all round on this - love the guitar and vocals
(maybe the rhythm section could be a bit bigger in the
mix, but not really an issue, just a personal preference).
Sounds great LOUD!
Dead End
Wow, stellar production guys. Vocals, guitars everything.
Great collaboration. Love it.

wow, ziti sounds spot on. Love your novelty talents in
your writing.
I love this tune, but I really wish that this tune when have
the same depth of ambients for both you and ziti. I would
love to hear your voice with the same reverb feeling. It
almost sounds like you both are in seperate rooms. I
really am saying this becaue this tune would be
spectactuar if you did that. I would just love to have you
post this again just to hear your singin like your are right
in the band with him!!
This is a terrific tune, I really like it alot!!!!!!
Outstanding Snow & Ziti
