Spritual
Very nice...like the reverb...relaxing and not to much in
there to distract from the feel.

drifting on the waves of peace....
There is such a comforting lull about this song...the way it
softly sweeps and gently ripples outward from the main
melody.

Very nice, z.
Thank you for this...

nice soothing change of pace
Your guitar playing has often energized me to the point of
jumping out of my chair. This laid-back, quiet
performance is a very nice change of pace, and equally
fine.

Very meditative, floating on a bed of sound.

Thanks for posting this.

nice soothing change of pace
thanks cameron!...my guitar playing often makes me wanna jump off a
cliff!...seriously, thanks. again, I never would get to play this way if it weren't
for the blessing and miracle of home recording. I love ambient music...and to
achieve a floating feeling with an electric guitar is a challenge, and for me it
would be impossible without multitracking. I was so surprised at how this
sounded when I put the pieces together, I wanted to share it. So I'm really
happy you like it...and as always thanks for the positive, constructive and
well thought out comments

spiritual
magic is what u have here......downloaded to my chill
playlist.....this track also has a ry cooder type film
soundtrack feel about it, it paints well on the canvas of
imagination! the santana parts were of course
tasty.....magical music!

Hi McBoy
Thanks Thanks Thanks

The Santana part came out of nowhere....but it said something to me, and I
felt sooo much better when i was thru!

Please continue supplying the inspiration to me and the many other of the
fine musicians on this site. Your music is a gift and your knowledge and
willingness to share that knowledge is a "perc" to us all! Salute to you (raise
the Iced Tea)

ps ..I LOVE ry cooder and his soundtracks...I have a 2 dick set of his film
music that is on my desert island list!...I don't think people realize where a lot
of this folk/ ambient desolate slide guitar sound came from...he is a genius!

Angelic
very subtle playing. Hit just the right amount of volume
and playing. Enough space to think about what we just
heard without missing too much of what comes after.
Great use of pedals, GB, amps or whatever you use to get
sounds like this. At times the sound in the left channel
sounded like a pedal steel guitar to me. Shimmering,
overdrive, wang bars, whatever all so well done. I guess
what I am saying is that they were just tools that you used
to express yourself and didn't become the song
themselves. Only a few people that I have heard manage
to pull this off and you are one of them.

Angelic
thanks bronco!! I used only the auto volume swell built into the Line6 amp I
play thru. with the wammy bar on a paul reed smith, you can actually play
stuff. You put the two together and a sound very much like pedal steel comes
out.
People are critical of too much reverb...but I think it takes the guitar out of
the tiny room and puts it up in the sky where it belongs!

your kind words about my playing mean so much...and i thank you for the
encouragement!

Just terrific!
You have so much feeling in them thar strings!

Love this tune as all the others I've heard. Love that steel
guitar effect, just outstanding ziti!

Thanks so much for sharing

Love this
It's late at night while I'm listening to this, and it's just so
incredibly relaxing. I love your more uptempo stuff, but
this is just so nice too.

It's so good to hear some "ambient" music played on
guitar/s instead of keyboards and loops - more soul!

Thanks!!

thank you J
I agree..I'm surprised more electric guitar is not used in ambient
music...people are always trying to make the electric sound angry...but it can
be so beautiful

Listened to ALL YOUR MUSIC!
There is a ton of it! The guitar through the Line6 sounds fantastic in all of your tracks. I once played in a band in which the guitarist used a PRS and it sounded great (yours sounds even better). This piece was nice; the guitar was smooth and flowing. Back in the day, it would have been perfect mood setting music for many varied amusements. Interestingly though, the guitar levels were a little lower in this track in contrast to your other tunes. It was no prob, I just turned up the volume. I gave a nice super high ranking (well-deserved) and downloaded it in case i need the mood setting (very doubtful).

I could imagine this...
...or a piece like this, anyway...with big ol' slow timpany, a la
the Beatles on, was it The Sun King, or like Fleetwood Mac's
Albatross...

This IS just lovely, ziti; in my mind's, er, ear, it's floating up
and around the glowing stained glass spaces of some
amazing cathedral poised between the Grand Canyon and
the Horsehead Nebula...but that's just me...

Hmm
Are you sure you didn't just come off a Relayer trip?

This nearly reaches the level of art.

Perhaps a bit shorter tune for a prayer? Nothing wrong with a two-minute hymn.
