An exceptional song, beautifully delivered and a great

My favorite mix so far. You've tightened it up yet kept a
sweet delicacy and uniqueness among the various
instruments. There is compelling intimacy in this track,
Excellent tune, writing and performance, all the way around.

stellarblue nailed it, "innocence" is the osund you've captured. it makes it so vulnerable, so bittersweet. the sound you round the edges with is really good. and the controlled writing fits right into place.

So post the lyrics already.

The vocal is really nice, and the acoustic guitar is nicely
recorded.

On my system, the strings--which I LIKE, mind you--are a
bit intrusive or heavy in the mix--and I'm not even sure
why that's so--but they distract a little rather than
enveloping the song. I want them to do a George Martin
sort of thing...being unique and melodic, but not pulling
attention away from the main thing, which is the melody,
the vocal delivery, and the lyrics.

That, for me, if it's not just the flukes of my system, is the
only crit I could make, and it refers only to the mix.

I really like this, and I leap to download it.

Great title for a song, or a book. Very nice recording, with a
personality and vibrancy I think is very hard to capture. This
sort of mix is something I have noticed as being indicative of
the very good home recordings on this site. It has a
personality that is lacking from professionally master mixes
that I like better. Plus, this is a good song.

What a fantastic song! Wonderful vocals, and deep, romantic mix, nice
harmonies, great use of instrumentation as it flows from the intimate
acoustic to the strings. Exceptional quality!
