Description
From previous post: "Written with and for Thomas Whiteside, this song is a dreamy account of how it feels to be empowered by mystical means."

UPDATE: I've reverse engineered this track and brought out the vocal lines, as well as remixed percussion and EQed the track overall. Hope I hit on your comments from the previous post. Enjoy!

Lyrics
Bring down the wall of light
He is the one who
Let me see in the night
She is the one who
Rode all through my mind
Blowing a cloud of air
And if I were infantile
I'd wish to be taken care of

I'll curl atop this mountain
Lying on the floor
I'll curl atop this mountain
Your heart can make me come.

I'm sinking in my head
I'm creeping inside my head
I'm sinking in my head
(don't check the)
(Tick tock made you mine)
I"m creeping inside my head
I'm thinking in my head
Tick tock made you mine.

Good stuff
Good bass line. The glockenspiel-like synth is an
interesting choice. I'd suggest punching up the rhythm
tracks, especially the kick. Not necessarily much louder,
but sharper. Maybe also try an additional synth beneath
the chorus ("I'm sinking in my head...") to lift it out of the
composition a bit. Even a single sustained note from a
violin would do the trick. Overall this is a well conceived
and constructed piece. I like the effect on thhe vocals.
Great lyrics!

Good stuff
Thanks, I'm playing with some more music through the chorus as per your
suggestion. Also the EQ on the drums has been difficult as it seemed the
punchiness was drowning out the vocal (it is a kind of soft spoken style, so
resolving it has been tough). Will see what I can do there. Glad you enjoy the
concept!

good
Like the bass line too. Adjusts perfectly to the rythm.
Beautiful song! Perhaps the voice can be more louder...
Greetings ;-)

good
Thank you, I've been considering laying in additional or completely new vocals,
the exisiting ones are years old. Would just have to get Thomas back to NY
from LA or a willing MacJammer to help!

Awesome!
Liked your song a lot. The song does sound fuller (I mean
the equalizer) and the opening drum beat is good too.

Keep up the good work, dude!

Very cool!
I like the sounds, groove and vocals. I couldn't really hear the track well though until I cranked my volume. However, that aside, the track is very well-done and the writing is very expressive. Good work!

Very interesting
This is the first song I've heard from you, very mellow song
with a strong beat. The bass is awesome. A good song, a
good mix. I need to check out your other songs, this is a
pleasant surprise!

Thanks,

M

Dustin was wearing a Twizzlers t-shirt the night we met. I thought he looked interesting so I asked him to light my cigarette. We talked for all of 15 minutes before we crossed the subject of music, that we both did and would, and so it went. Ther... [see more]
