Description:
This is a song I created out of a test when I got Jam Pack 4. It is a fusion of symphonic strings and electronic music. I think it came out beautiful, though a bit slow in the begining.

Those string instruments really come to life when you put a customized space designer plugin over them...

Very nice. &mdash 07/09/05 - 07:34:03 PM
I don't know if you've ever heard the Venetian Snares, but
this reminded me of alot of the songs off of their Rossz
Csillag Allat Szuletett album (which is brilliant by the way).
It would have been nice if you kept the strings a bit higher
in the mix when everything went electronic. You're drums
are excellent, but you don't let your drum slicing talents
shine all the way through. You hear little bursts of frantic,
IDM drums licks, but this piece would be much more
exciting if you added more of them. Other then those two
minor things, I really enjoyed this. Where can I get my
hands on one of those "space designer plugins"?

Yeah I have heard of the Venetian Snares, in fact I have a lot of their
tracks, but not the album you mentioned. I am actually a fan of most IDM. I
thought this track sounded more RDJ or µ-ziq style myself. Thank you for the
comments. I love the stuff that you have put out, maybe sometime a
collaboration?

And the Space Designer Plugin is a standard component of Logic Pro, but
there may be similar third party plugins for GarageBand and Logic Express. It
is essentially a reverb plugin, but pretty advanced. Check out Apple's page on
it: http://www.apple.com/logicpro/reverbeffects.html
