So...
This is a cover of...hahahaha...wait ...never mind...
I figured I’d do an original tune to throw y’all off a bit... :) hahahahahahaa...
And I pulled it off (I Think)...with the help of the wonderful and talented Fairy Beth..
I asked her to sing over this tune I had, and I am very glad she did (man can that girl Sing!!)

Great song, you two. Excellent lyrics and singing FB. You
have great command of your voice. I think if you sing
right up to the mic (with a pop screen) the recording of
you vocals will sound less "roomy". You're a damn good
singer; worth a better recording.
Ronnie, great playing as usual. You rock. I think the
arrangement of the instruments needs to be spread out;
most everything sounds like it's dead center. Let the
elements find their own spaces.

stressin' an let the tracks "fall into place" :).....maybe I OVERproduced it to

I'd like to pull the drums and bass up a bit in the mix, I get
FB nice and strong and the guitar mix is good, but it all kind
of overpowers the bass and drums. Might be fun to add
some congo drums in there or shaker as well.

ok.....Guess that happens when I hear a song too many times

Great combination of voice and (mostly) instruments. I
agree with ka-klick about the bass and drums - suspect
it's got more to do with the fuzz guitar though, which I
find a biit overpowering at times (never was a big fan of
that sound). Would love to hear a version without the
fuzz, and more acoustic guitar.

Ooohhhh...I'm all about the fuzz guitar.... sorry it got a bit overpowering in
places...but I think FB's voice was a great contrast to it...

Excellent guitars and vocal performances! Wow! Also very
interesting lyrics, fits well with the summer. This is a such
a good song, the arrangements, the refrain etc. I think it
deserves a second round. The guitars are a bit flat, I
would really love to hear a good mix where both the fuzz
guitar and the vocals both stays out clean and almost kind
of fight each other (I don't know of this makes sense).
This is very good as is of course, but with some more
work I bet you could get this thing on the radio stations...

the airy Norah Jones like voice over Ronnie's heavy guitar works really well. smooth and hard aat the same time, adds an element of seductiveness to the trip. i really like the lyrics too. the song ends too fast for me, maybe a longer fade? i kept singing it afterward! really nice track you two.
