Aptly titled
And anytime you wanna go down that finger-pickin'-
leads-slide road, I'll come along for the ride.

Made me think of a countryfied Classical Gas.

Excellent
You'vd done it again. Very enjoyable ride with the tiler. I
agree that it has the feeling of a road song but I also got a
watery kind of sailing thing going there to. I guess
anywhere the breeze is blowing and you are moving on.
Nice variation in the middle part contrasts the theme
nicely and then when you go back to it brings it all home.

Roll down the windows
...and turn it up! Your playing talent eludes me. Hey, as long as we are growin that corn in the back yard we can drive on and on. Hardy har! Great stuff as usual.

shimmery sounds
Do you give lessons on recording acoustic guitars? They always sound so good on your songs.
Some mighty fine pickin' going on here. I like the slide too. It sounds kinda eastern to me at some points.Good job!

Great sound, must be those two mics! You manage to get
a depth and resonance that no-one else seems to be able
to do on MJ. Keep em coming!

Great Tune, Great Slide...
...and a great title to boot. Very much reminds me of a
lazy country drive - the cornfields blurring on the way
past.

Pretty fine picking
I used to play guitar, but never slide. This has a nice flow
to it. Composed well.

I just went to itunes and heard part of the tune, the one by Davy Graham. I also
heard the Simon and Garfunk rendition. Davey Graham's one was fun to listen
to. Thanks so much for the compliment! Thanks for clueing me into the tune. I
beleve I heard it decades ago, to be honest that tune never even crossed my
mind when I composed this piece.

Thanks again!

This might be my favorite of yours...
You push the guitar to the limits here. Sometimes it sounds like a harp, sometimes like a voice, sometimes a piano, even a sitar in spots. Love those unison spots.

I'm going on a road trip this weekend, so thanks for posting this just in time for me to download.

Another fine song
You got me good with this one, TT. Nice accompaniment
with yourself. I would love to hear more bottom end
throughout. A little suggestion, not so much a criticism,
but at the beginning, try fading in where the noise begins,
to disguise it before the music starts... and fade out at the
end.

I CAN'T KEEP UP...
...TOO MANY GREAT TUNES!...

Feeling...tremendous...pressure...to...stay...at...computer..
. constantly...

...Mustn't...miss...next...tiler...post...

I mean, in fairness, it's not confined to the thetiler, but
some folks here are getting prolific. I start looking at my
measly little hard drives and thinking, "Can I download
ALL of these?!?!"

Well, so far, yes I can.

Okay. Always leave specifics about THIS tune.

GREAT sound you're getting on this, mr tiler. I've got a lot
of your songs downloaded now, and the guitar tone
seems to be getting better over time. I think it's the same
guitar...I think...so something in the recording is getting
brighter and airier...A bit of brass in that sound, in a good
way...

Good melody.

I could hear this with an upright bass.

Good job.

I CAN'T KEEP UP...
Thanks Ejh, thanks for all your great input. Ya, a bass could be a nice addition.
Maybe I should contact andrew again. Thanks for download many of my tunes.

Glad to see your on this site!

Good luck, and I'm looking forward to seeing your next tune displayed here at
MJ.
